My education started with graphic design and fine arts but in the last decade or so pivoted towards UX and UI Design. When I began working as a designer in the early 2000s, I was building websites in Photoshop and making heavy Flash intro animations was the norm. I'm not sure if I should feel more proud or ashamed of it :)
Over the years, I’ve worked on everything from brand and e-commerce websites to some TV commercials, digital and social media campaigns before finally landing in a product team.
According to the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator, I’m an INFJ (the Advocate), a people-oriented introvert. I love animals, art, and true crime stories, and I hoard countless Spotify playlists. I’m also a mom to a dog, a cat, and a nine-year-old human girl.

I officially transitioned into product design in 2020 but my roots in the creative field stretch back more than 20 years through brand design, web design, and art direction. Spending so many years in global marketing and advertising agencies shaped my user-centric mindset and helps me craft meaningful experiences that go beyond visuals. I blend creative thinking and business goals with a touch of delightfulness, aiming to deliver outcomes that truly add value for both brands and users.

When I don't design
Even when I'm not immersed in my design work, curiosity rules my life. I love traveling and spending time outdoors with my child and dog, and living in Malaga means I'm lucky to have beautiful weather year-round to make that possible. Sometimes I also exercise and flip vintage furniture 😀. Recently, I've started a blog, Design 5 to 9, where I mix up thoughts about design with my learnings and human journey.
I also launched an Instagram account at the beginning of this year, @creepsoupsupreme, to keep myself motivated to create art purely for the joy of it.
At the moment, I'm experimenting with Procreate sketches, but I may return to painting or sculpture one day when I’ll have more time.
